I really admire speakers who can talk to hundreds of people and do it with such poise. My favorite speakers communicate in such a way that is clear, entertaining, and inspiring. Each time they take the stage, it signals a new revelation for each person in the audience.

I want to cultivate my own public speaking skills.

So I'm choosing to start with video. If I can't talk to a camera, how can I imagine talking to hundreds of people? This challenge should be fun, and get me thinking of new things.

Every day for October, I'm going to:

  1. Record a minute-long video talking about anything
  2. Upload it to YouTube.

By the end of this little experiment, I'm going to have 30 short videos on questions I've never answered on tape.

I can't wait to do it.

Let me know if you have any questions or topics you want me to answer!
